Our second Jazz Evening was another great night of relaxed music, food and mulled wine featuring the Solar Quartet: Leopoldo Osio on keyboard, Alistair Elliman on guitar, Barry Donohue on bass and Hugh Denman on drums.

We are proud to announce that Agata won the Rising Star Award in the Enterprise Network for Women – hooray!

The Winner of the Rising Star award in the Dublin City Enterprise Network for Women in 2009 is Agata Stoinska of D-Light Studios. She wins €500 worth of DCEB training vouchers. Agata’s company D-Light Studios rents studio space for photographers, television crews, theatre companies, exhibitions, creative workshops, seminars, fashion shows. Working as a photographer Agata wanted an innovative creative space to work in and provide a space for a multitude of creative disciplines. They have held exhibitions and also had a one day art festival which showed more than 30 artists.
The Jazz Evenings gor off to a great start with the Ola Pukowiec Quartet on Wednesday. We had mulled wine, mince pies, Polish pasties and roasted chestnuts- it was amazing!
The vibe was totally chilled and there was even a few guests swing dancing!

Connector will be hosting their Christmas Party this Thursday in Lillie’s Bordello and as part of the night they will be announcing the ‘Tribe of the Year’ .
We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award along with culch.ie, Dartmouth Square, Synth Eastwood and Funky Seomra.
