Fashion Photography Workshops at D-light Studios
The latest venture at D-light Studios is a series of one day workshops guiding anyone who is interested in breaking into the commercial fashion industry; from photographing and styling, to make up and assisting.
The first seminar offers a fantastic educational opportunity led by Dublin\’s top fashion photographer Agata Stoinska and assistant and studio manager Aoife Herrity.
On this workshop Agata you will teach you how to:
Approach potential clients
- Collaborate successfully with a stylist
Find the right model
Secure suitable studios or locations for shoots
Communicate effectively with hair and make up artists
Develop a striking portfolio
How to target photographers to assist
Basic knowlegde of studio equipment
The ettiquette of assisting
What is expected of an assistant on a shoot
To conclude the day, atendees are encouraged to bring some of their own work for a relaxed critique; photos, tear sheets or rough ideas are all welcome!
