Our last event had some super music courtesy of band Fifteen Minutes and D.J.s from Alias Empire, a perfect end to a glorious bank holiday weekend! Playgroup is taking a little break for the Summer months, but we promise to be back with a bang come September!!! Here’s a few shots of Tomek doing his thing and a few gems from the photobooth….
PLAYGROUP – Dublin’s Creative Get Together
Date: Tues 2nd June
Time: 6:30 – 9:30
Place: D-light Studios, 46 North Great Clarence St, Dublin 1.
Cost: 1-6 euro (depending on the roll of the dice)
Business cards at the ready folks! The time has come for the next PLAYGROUP event; a melting pot for all creatives in the north city centre.
Whether you’re a journalist, a graphic designer, a make up artist or a painter we want to see you at the studio!
Cet creative with the photobooth, artist’s corner, live music and a chance to meet some lovely people!
This month’s live band is none other than Fifteen Minutes playing a mellow set while you network your socks off!

Here’s some shots taken in the photobooth at lastnight’s creative get together; PLAYGROUP. Beeeautiful stuff there folks, loveley to see you all Vogue-ing in the studio!
Apologies for being such bold bloggers! We finally got our mitts on some photos of the last Creative Get Together, what a great night! We had hairstylists, photographers, d.j.s, musicians, writers, artists, designers, consultants, politicians, sound engineers, architects, cinematographers….the list went on!
A big huge thank you to everyone who helped out on the night, especially Bren Crowe who played an incredible set! We want him to play here all the time- even if it’s just in the office on admin days!
We are looking forward to having another get together soon, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!! In the meantime, here’s a few shots of the last night…

Do you feel lucky, punk?
Roll the dice to gain entry to the Creative Get Together! The cost of entry depends on the number you roll; a bargain night for one euro, or a six euro steal? It’s all in the wrist!
We are turning networking on its head this month and have a few tricks up our sleeves so you had better come prepared! We’ll be swapping business cards for name tags with a twist and then it’s time to get mingling…
Bring your cards, portfolios, notebooks, mock-ups, sketch books, tear sheets, leaflets, magazines, c.d.s, d.v.d.s, t-shirts…whatever it is you create or are envolved in, bring it along and put it on display. Inspire us!
Don’t forget that you are more than welcome to bring a bottle of wine or a few cans for yourself, but remember this is a night to get the creative juices flowing- not just a piss up!

At our first Creative Get Together, we had the pleasure of meeting Conor Lynch- the brains behind connector.ie. It was great to see his interest in our studio, we even got a mention on his blog! As we are equally as interested in his work, we headed up to Renard’s last Thursday for Connector Meet Up Number 8. You can see more of what happened on the night by seeing Conor’s Facebook photos here. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for the Connector lads on the Dragon’s Den tonight on RTE1 @ 10.10pm.
