Due to the massive success of our workshops we have decided to extend our teaching services to offer one on one tutorials.
These private tutorials will be with studio owner Agata Stoinska and will run for an hour and a half. In this time, Agata will give a full critique of your portfolio, exploring the areas you may wish to develop or strengthen. Aesthetically, Agata will cover composition, pose, lens choice, depth of field and getting the best performance from your model. Other topics include business strategy, sourcing a styling team getting the best shots on a no budget shoot, photographic exercises and both lighting and shooting techniques. Photoshop and retouching tips will also be covered in this tutorial.
In addition to the one on one tutorials, Agata is available for a photoshoot tutorial where she will guide you through a test shoot with a model, stylist, hair and make up artist and coach you on the codes and practises of professional fashion photography.

Our Full Photo Shoot workshop was held on Saturday, and one of our attendants was kind enough to pass on some of his shots from the day. The class got to see the run through of a test shoot and watch Agata in action shooting both daylight and flash set ups. We had a full team on board including stylist Karl Patrick Smith, hairdresser , make up artists Natalie Kinsella and Helena Devine. Our models for the day were Sarah McCall, Laura Keohane and Sharon Touhey all from Morgan the Agency. Some of you might remember Laura and Sharon from RTE’s The Model Agent- it was a pleasure to have them in the studio. Hope to see you again soon girls! Many thanks to everyone who helped out on the day and especially to everyone who attended the workshop; your images will be posted on the blog after they get sent to Conns for printing. Can’t wait to see the finished shots!

Watch and learn as top fashion photographer Agata Stoinska demonstrates how her photoshoots are conducted. Then learn first-hand by shooting two models in the studio with two different looks. Firstly, a natural light set up – essential for all model portfolios- followed by a shoot using studio flash to achieve a high fashion look.
This photoshoot workshop will give students the feel of a professional fashion environment, with a stylist, hair and make-up artists on hand to help style your model and bring an industry standard look to your images.
On the day we will also have an in-house technician from Conn’s Cameras to discuss the preparation of digital files and also their unique back-up system. In addition to this, your best two shots taken on the day will be sent to Conns and printed to A4 size free of charge. These prints will be waiting for you along with an opportunity to avail of their professional rates.
