A big thank you to all who came along to our Summer Party on Sunday!

Here’s a few shots of the day of you missed it.

We had a great day of fun and games, from Wii to table tennis, darts to fusball and great music including D.J. sets from King Tee of Audio Sunshine, live percussion from Chucky (Even Split, Scribble Sound-System), D.J. Joey, Elbow Room and of course the amazing Barley Mob.

We can’t wait to throw another fun event at the studio – watch this space for updates and info!

Band Rehearsal at D-light Studios

Calling all musicians! If you are looking for a location to rehearse, think of D-light Studios!

The studio is now available to rent as a rehearsal space for musicians and bands.

Rates are extremely competitive at just €100 per drop in session, and €50 per session when you make four bookings or more.

First Jazz Evening

The Jazz Evenings gor off to a great start with the Ola Pukowiec Quartet on Wednesday. We had mulled wine, mince pies, Polish pasties and roasted chestnuts- it was amazing!

The vibe was totally chilled and there was even a few guests swing dancing!

SHE: Upcoming Exhibition at D-light Studios

SHE is a group exhibition of 6 women artists coming together to explore what it means to be a ‘she’ in this world today.

Working through the mediums of painting, photography, drawings, installation and sculpture, to express how women perceive themselves, their relationships with each other, their worries and joys.

Exhibiting artists are; Julita Jaroszuk, Kinga Hofman, Magda Cwik, Agnieska Szot, Anna Mulvihill and Catherine Ryan.

All are welcome to the opening night, Friday November 13th at 7pm.

There will be a special theatre performance by La Tortura, followed by music with The Roadside Waltz and dj Mat Jazz, keeping you entertained until 10pm.

The exhibition runs all weekend from 9am to 6pm, but the real fun is on Friday!

STARGAZE – 27th September 2009

STARGAZE Arts Festival will be held at D-Light Studios on the 27th of September 2009 from 10am to 10pm! STARGAZE aims to promote and celebrate creativity in all its forms. If you would like to meet like-minded creative people, view artwork, experience live graffiti, painting and knitting, listen to live bands, enjoy Ireland’s top DJs, have a drink and something to eat, then STARGAZE is the place for you… It’s a day out with a difference. Playgroup June ’09

Our last event had some super music courtesy of band Fifteen Minutes and D.J.s from Alias Empire, a perfect end to a glorious bank holiday weekend!
