Snaps from Fashion Break Through

D-Light Studios played host to the Fashion Break Through Fashion Show on Tuesday. The entire studio was a flurry of activity- long before the show even started! LA Makeup Academy were on hand to work their magic on the girls, while Lisa Shawgi put all the day’s plans into action. The show was a huge sucess with some top names in fashion attending the event. Here’s some of the shots we managed to take on the night…

Billy’s Prudence Column

01-copy1

Make up artist Billy Orr has long been a friend of the studio’s. We love nothing more than getting a few nuggets of make up info from him when he’s in on a shoot. Now Billy has a column in Prudence Magazine, so everyone can get some of Billy’s wonderful tips! Pick up a copy of the March/April issue while you still can and get a dose of Billy’s make up secrets (-the mascara article is a personal favourite!) We can’t wait to see the next issue!! Have a look at some of Billy’s amazing hair and make up work by viewing his website here.

Get Together, Get Creative!

851842911-copy1

Do you feel lucky, punk?

Roll the dice to gain entry to the Creative Get Together! The cost of entry depends on the number you roll; a bargain night for one euro, or a six euro steal? It’s all in the wrist!

We are turning networking on its head this month and have a few tricks up our sleeves so you had better come prepared! We’ll be swapping business cards for name tags with a twist and then it’s time to get mingling…

Bring your cards, portfolios, notebooks, mock-ups, sketch books, tear sheets, leaflets, magazines, c.d.s, d.v.d.s, t-shirts…whatever it is you create or are envolved in, bring it along and put it on display. Inspire us!

Don’t forget that you are more than welcome to bring a bottle of wine or a few cans for yourself, but remember this is a night to get the creative juices flowing- not just a piss up!

Please find us on Facebook under Dlightstudios Dublin, where event notifications will be sent to all our friends. Confirmed music for the night is D.J. Bren Crowe of Splitloop.

When: Tuesday 7th April 6:30-9:30 pm

Where: D-light Studios Dublin, 46 North Great Clarence St, Dublin 1.

The studio is located on North Great Clarence Street, just off Portland Row beside the five lamps.

For more details visit http://d-lightstudios.com/ or contact the studio manager at 086 0233247.

See you at the studio!
